Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure (often referred to as an "eye-lift") in which Dr. Papadopoulos removes excess tissue or fat from the upper or lower eyelids, eliminating any sag in the upper eyelids or bagginess in the lower eyelids. This procedure is performed in our office under local anesthesia and usually lasts about one to three hours, depending on whether both upper and lower eyelids are corrected.
Dr. Papadopoulos has extensive experience in eyelid reconstruction as part of his skin cancer surgeries and he applies many innovations from these surgeries to his eyelid work, significantly improving on existing techniques.
